Survey on the Current Situation of Children in Malaysia During Movement Control Orders in 2020

The SDG Children's forum brought together 52 children from across Malaysia, with different backgrounds. They collectively curated a series of suggestions based on 4 SDG Goals (Goal 10 Reducing Inequalities as cross-cutting goal), with their voices heard by Key Policy Makers and included in shaping a whole of nation approach to achieving the SDGs by 2030.

The overall goal of the Child Friendly Cities Initaitive is to enable MBPJ to be a Candidate City for certification as the first Child Friendly City in Malaysia by Unicef Malaysia. MBPJ, Childline Foundation and the Malaysian Institute of Planners (MIP) collaborated to organize the PJ Child Friendly Cities Conference 2019 which was held on 26-27 November 2019 at the MBPJ Civic Hall. The highlights of the conference were the signing of an MOU between MBPJ and Unicef Malaysia and the appointment of the 32 members of the Protem PJ Child Council (PPJCC).
